These Terms of Service (“Terms”) govern your use of the Rhode Concrete Corporation website and our concrete services. By accessing our website or engaging our services, you agree to be bound by these Terms. If you do not agree with any part of these Terms, please do not use our website or services.
01Acceptance of Terms
By using the Rhode Concrete Corporation website or engaging our services, you acknowledge that you have read, understood, and agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. These Terms apply to all visitors, customers, and anyone who accesses or uses our services.
We reserve the right to modify these Terms at any time. Changes will be effective immediately upon posting to this page. Your continued use of our website or services following any changes constitutes your acceptance of the revised Terms.
02Services
Rhode Concrete Corporation provides residential concrete services throughout Utah County, UT, and surrounding areas. Our services include, but are not limited to:
- Concrete driveways
- Patios and outdoor living spaces
- Sidewalks and walkways
- Curb and gutter installation
- Basketball and pickleball courts
- Concrete slabs for sheds, garages, and other structures
All services are subject to availability and scheduling. We reserve the right to decline any project at our discretion.
03Estimates & Pricing
Rhode Concrete Corporation provides free, no-obligation estimates for residential concrete projects. Please note the following regarding our estimates and pricing:
- All estimates are based on an in-person assessment of the project site and scope of work as discussed at the time of the estimate.
- Estimates are valid for 30 days from the date provided unless otherwise stated in writing.
- Final pricing may vary if the project scope changes, unforeseen site conditions are discovered, or additional work is requested by the customer.
- Any changes to the original estimate will be communicated to and approved by the customer before additional work is performed.
04Project Terms
By engaging Rhode Concrete Corporation for a project, you agree to the following terms:
- Site Access: You will provide reasonable access to the project site, including clear pathways for equipment and materials.
- Utilities: You are responsible for identifying and marking any underground utilities on your property prior to the start of work. Rhode Concrete Corporation is not liable for damage to unmarked utilities.
- Scheduling: Project timelines are estimates and may be affected by weather conditions, material availability, or other factors beyond our control.
- Curing Period: Concrete requires adequate curing time. You agree to follow our instructions regarding curing periods and to avoid use of newly poured concrete until advised it is safe to do so.
- Permits: If permits are required for your project, we will advise you accordingly. Obtaining permits is the responsibility of the property owner unless otherwise agreed in writing.
05Payment Terms
Payment terms will be outlined in the written agreement for each project. General payment policies include:
- A deposit may be required prior to the start of work, as specified in the project agreement.
- Final payment is due upon satisfactory completion of the project unless other arrangements have been made in writing.
- Accepted payment methods will be communicated at the time of the agreement.
- Late payments may be subject to additional fees as outlined in the project agreement.
06Warranty
Rhode Concrete Corporation stands behind our workmanship. Our warranty terms are as follows:
- We provide a workmanship warranty on all completed projects. Specific warranty duration and terms will be outlined in your project agreement.
- Our warranty covers defects in workmanship under normal use and conditions.
The warranty does not cover:
- Normal wear and tear, including minor surface cracking (hairline cracks are a natural characteristic of concrete)
- Damage caused by improper use, neglect, or failure to follow curing and maintenance instructions
- Damage caused by acts of nature, including but not limited to earthquakes, flooding, or extreme weather events
- Damage caused by third parties or subsequent construction on or near the concrete
- Color variations in concrete, which are a natural occurrence
07Limitation of Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, Rhode Concrete Corporation shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, including but not limited to loss of profits, data, use, or goodwill, arising out of or related to your use of our website or services.
Our total liability for any claim arising out of or relating to our services shall not exceed the total amount paid by you for the specific project giving rise to the claim.
Rhode Concrete Corporation is not responsible for delays, damages, or failures in performance resulting from causes beyond our reasonable control, including but not limited to weather conditions, natural disasters, supply chain disruptions, or government actions.
08Governing Law
These Terms of Service shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the State of Utah, without regard to its conflict of law provisions. Any disputes arising under or in connection with these Terms shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the state and federal courts located in Utah County, Utah.
If any provision of these Terms is found to be unenforceable or invalid by a court of competent jurisdiction, the remaining provisions shall remain in full force and effect.
